Wow, it’s been a while, yes? But, your wait has come to an end!! and i’ve got a juicy entry just for you. But I doubt, I’ll tell you everything. Ha. Too bad. Oh wait, just kidding… No, we’ll just see how it goes and how not lazy I am. Okay? OKAY!
So, camping… IT WAS SUPER FUN!! I got to Beacon Hill super early like at 8 and went to the park. It was nice, I’ve never went to a park by myself before and it was strangely rejuvenating. To be alone at a park, swinging in silence. Yup! That’s me!! Hahaha. But Melissa and Andy were coming soon and my calm mood would soon be ruined!! Oh no!! So they came, and when we all went in together, Mr. Okada was really stressing out about kids and labeling luggage and checking off stuff. And let me tell you, I was getting stressed looking at him. HOW CAN HE STAND THIS EVERYDAY?! Well, I got a taste of it at camp. But I didn’t even meet my kids yet. Our job was to LOAD ALL THE DAMN LUGGAGE OF THE KIDS’ onto a bus. Yes. All the giant suitcases of little fifth graders. They packed a HELL of a lot!! My god…
Then came the bus ride. Joanne AND Melissa ditched me. Well, actually, I had no choice but to sit in the back because the bus driver wanted some older person in the back where all the kiddies sat. Gah. It was annoying because I was the only one back there. And Melissa and Joanne had the comfort of sitting up front away from evil children. So the conversation was like this:
B: Bus driver
G: Ms. Graves (Ms. Chavez, whatever. I know her as Ms. Graves, you little fifth graders!!)
A: Alyson
M: Morimorisa
J: Joanne
/Start/
B: I need a counselor in the back to keep the kids seated and under control!
A: …Okay… Come with me, you guys!
J: Back there?!
M: …
A: Ms. Graves, I’m a bit uneasy about this…
G: About what?
A: About sitting back here…
G: You’re a camp counselor. You just gotta do it.
A: Fine… *walks back*
G: Oh, perfect! Sit next to Boris!!
/End/
Yeah, Boris is one of the naughty boys. Haha. And everyone “ooh”ed when I sat next to him. He made me sit in the window seat. And throughout the bus ride when there was stuff to see, he’d want to switch places with me. But it didn’t really bother me. So whatever. And the bus sang camp songs, some of them I didn’t even know. Like “Super California Surfer”, which is popular among the kids. And some old classics…like John Jacob Jingleheimerschmidt. Or however you spell it. lol, Anyways… there were some cutesy little asian kids in the back singing along sweetly. Alex and some other kid. But, dude, Alex had a high ass voice!! HAHA. Completely, utterly adorable! ^^ He kept asking me when we’d get there but I didn’t get annoyed. AMAAAZING.
So, we got there, finally after like 2 hours. And I had to unload the luggage. Wasn’t that bad. Met up with my kids.
Angelica, Anjellica, Morgan, Marina, Michelle, Lynn, Diana, Rekeik, Elizabeth, Samiya, and Abby. Samiya and Rekeik were definitely a bit spoiled and Morgan liked to be the star. But other than that, my cabin was amazing.
Wait, actually, the other only thing wrong was that they… wait. MUST TALK GOOD ABOUT CABIN!! And I’m not lying when I say this, they actually followed directions and listened to me. So what if they were crazy? It’s CAMP!!
So, everything was pretty normal except for when we were going to sleep. It was 10 and it was rule that we were supposed to be sleeping by then. But, NO, these little girls feel dirty! So I limited them to like 5 minutes in the bathroom including the removal/putting on of the clothes. It worked out pretty well, because by 10:30, we were in bed. And the next morning, we were the cabin who had lights out first. W00T W00T for Leader ALLY. But before that, a couple of my girls wanted to wake up at freaking 5:40 am to take a shower before anyone. It really ticked me off. -__- And the fact that they were “whispering” made me madder. You could seriously hear them, and my bunk was pretty close to the bathroom. Oh man. That was probably the most difficult moment for me: to tell them that they needed to step it up.
Camp went pretty smoothly, until the night of the second day. Our cabin was a wolf pack and we couldn’t speak in any human language. We had to speak in wolf howls and yips or whatever. Some of my girls were like half wolf half human language and a teacher caught us and we had to do jumping jacks and sing songs. It was hilarious. But we answered questions and earned lots of chips, which symbolized food from the winter. But of course, It was dark and we had to find this “Alpha Wolf” who was one of the staff of Colman. Anyways, that’s not the point. One of my girls, Marina, slipped on a branch of round thing and twisted her ankle.
The next day, while playing Life and Death, (basically a giant more complex game of tag), she twisted the other and did something to her shoulder. THAT SUCKSS!! But Morgan had to pee in the middle of a game. So basically, we walked down the giant hill we climbed, peed, then walked back up. By then, the game was over. Great.
But I gotta tell you readers, during recreation time, the boys went into the girls’ cabins and did some weird stuff like put wood chips in one of my girls’ stuff. And then one of them took Joanne’s flashlight, and we basically had a crappy time during that. Speaking of boys, they absolutely LURRVED Joanne. Hahaha, she’s so hot. :p
And one of them had a really annoying laugh. Oh god.
Then, before we knew it, camp was over. AND HOLY DAMN, I HAD A LOT OF WORK TO DO.
So I stayed home on Thursday and did stuff. Then went to school Friday… On Saturday, I did a hell of a lot of math work with Suki… then we bought food and picnicked at the park under the shade of a lovely tree.
We talked a lot and had lots of fun. On Sunday, I just relaxed. THEN…
Today was fun and I felt I got a lot accomplished. I stayed after school to do the lab I missed on Wednesday. An easy one… but I must admit, pretty tedious. Then I took the bus (I was really considerate because I gave up my seat many times) to the museum. But the bus came late and it took like 45 minutes. So I called Melissa to open the door when I arrived. When she picked up, I already had a bubble tea in my hand. And she said that SOMEONE was there. Guess who it is, Hao. LOL
And I wanted to avoid this person, so I wasn’t really into going in the door but Melissa was yelling at me with that VULGAR VULGAR language with me. I had no option but to obey because I was SOOOO scared. Hahaha. So I made it in and she tried to force me to look this person in the face but I had avoided it until Ammara (the lady in charge of us) introduced TeensWAY and I, as the Vice-President, ABSOLUTELY HAD to show my face. So I waved briefly. And I swear, I could feel his eyes on me. He looked at my painting that I did earlier this year. That moment, Melissa was celebrating in her head.
And this person MIGHT be a guest at our opening event in June for our exhibit (the one I painted for). dammit.
I will pay her back. She wins today, but I’ll be back. PUHAHAHAHAHA.
It’s been well over 1000 words. I hope this has been a sufficient blog, because I haven’t been blogging much. Thanks for reading and I hope you continue to follow my life on this blog (please don’t stalk me).
